Headaches and cravings

The new training program - Week 2 - Session 1 - Day 8

 

Now it has hit me!  All the cravings and a lot of headache.

I guess the body i now in that stage where it feels it has to little of fast processing energy sources, like carbs and sugar.  Which is good, since it then starts processing the fat instead.  But I also have a lot of headaches.  Which is not so good.  The headaches are just to endure I guess....

I also need to be careful so that the body isn't breaking down the muscles to get energy.  So, in order for me to continue to build muscles and still give the body enough energy, I eat a lot of protein rich food, like fish, chicken and eggs.  I also east a lot of fruits and berries, which in themselves contain sugar.  But this is natural sugar, and the not the processed white sugar, which is so dangerous for your body.

Even though I think the training is now going better, and the effort in staying away from sugar and carbs are going quite well, I do have some cravings for a large glass of Cola with ice!  
I used to drink about 1 to 2 glasses of Premier Cola each day.  And stopping doing that, going "cold turkey" has actually gone much better than I thought it would.  I thougt it would be much tougher.

tacos 700x700I was tempted quite a bit this saturday when we had tacos at home, and everyone else was drinking cola and also offered two large bars of Marabou chocholate cakes....  :-(.  That wasn't very nice.  But I resisted!  Quite a victory!

Anyway, now I have done the first day of week 2 of the trainings program.  And I am not so soar this time as after the first session last week.  That is also a victory to be grateful for.  Yes!
