The new training program - Week 1- Session 2 - Day 3
Wow! I really didnt think that starting on a new training program would be so hard! I really feel like this is too much.
But I also want the results that I have been looking for the last 5-8 years.
The day before yesterday, which was a monday, I started on my new training program. It is configured as a 3 day per week program.
The first session (day 1) is 4 exercises for
- back
- biceps
- stomach
The second session (day 3) is 5 exercises for
- legs
The third session (day 5) is 5 exercises for
- shoulders
- chest
- arms
I have just done session 2. That is the leg exercises. And I still have a soreness from the exercises i did the day before yesterday. So right now I'm wondering if it worth it.
Even if I had to reduce the weight from what I normally work with, just to be able to really do the exercises, it was still a tough program.
The program itself it set up as two different exercises that you do in pairs. You go from the first exercise to the next without any rest. You get 60 seconds of rest after the second exercise in the pair, before you go back to the first exercise again. You repeat the set 3 times. And today, for the legs, there was 5 pairs of exercises. Tough!!
But I know that it will be worth it in the end. I really hope this will be easier as I go along in the training program, which is set for 12 weeks. It just to go on!
