Joint Venture - Yes or no?
Joint venture has many great advantages - here you will find a few.
In a great MasterMind session we had yesterday with Justin Whittmore, he shared his view of how to raise money for investing, the importance of being present in social media and to network. We also spoke a lot about doing joint ventures.
As you most likely know, JV, or joint venture, is when two or more investors do a business deal together. It could be properties, as in what we will talk about here, or it could be another business venture.
For some reason people are voicing an opinion nowadays that JV's are not a good way to invest into properties. Therefore, we put together this list below, to highlight some great advantages about joint ventures.
- A JV opens up for the possibility to do more deals - and bigger projects.
- A JV is a good win-win solution for all parties. You get experience and expertise into your projects, most often for equity in the property.
You may lose a part of your profit, but it is well worth it, since you may gain qualities and knowledge that you don’t have. And at the same time, you may do several projects at once, instead of only one project. - When remortgage is done and everything has gone well, it´s most likely that the investor (if being a JV partner), would like you to do coming projects together as well.
- As we’ve said; Learn from each other´s expertise and experiences - a powerful way for speeding up success.
- In a joint venture, creating a company together, you will also benefit from each other’s track records.
- Joint venture is one of the easiest ways to get into property investing or getting into a new property market
